All of the plants used to create this luscious silk are known as powerful healing plants. Madder Root - the queen of red dyes creates the deep hue, she also has a long history of use to soothe menstrual discomforts. Plants added for their energetic qualities: warming Yarrow helps us hold energetic boundaries, and has been used to regulate menses, Generous Red Alder supports digestion, and can help us let go of all that does not serve, and a handful of rose petals- to remind us that it is okay to have protective thorns, that we might better savor our sweetness.
